Every year, like a dental cleaning and oral favors from your significant other, the Oscars are foisted upon us again/ The glitterati have dowsed motion pictures that conform to ancient and mercurial codices. We layfolk, we peasants tilling the popped corn in the hot Tri-Star sun, we strain to buy an evening's manumission and see s film ourselves. We empty the bilious pocket on oh though that - when squeezed of puss thoroughly, we count our precious precious nikkie and penneys and sloorp to countout enough coin for tickets. a small popcorn - small! Dingzup! You ingratre! -and diet colas. -Deedee, don't spludge - OK,
fiiiiine, large colas.
In such dire setting, you cannot judge us for having seen a rather deficient number of the motion pictures nominated by our betters. Given this unacceptable condition, we see clearly now the rain has gone and no obstacle in our way...sorry, got off on a singing tangent.
Having seen too few movies this year, we will offer our own prize, soon to be coveted by every starlet and script monkey in Tinsel Town: The Topheries!
You know, from Christopher. It's easy, just cut off the first 'C h r is" and...you get this, don't you? You're just screwing with me, right?

The Dreamworkers cynical continuation of the Shrek graveytrain had a few aces in its sleeve: Antonio Banderas, Selma Hayek, and Zach Galifinakasfinaklausfinizzzack, with Billy Bob Thorton, Amy Sedaris and Guillermo del Toro voicing supporting characters. It's this ensemble corp that allow the movie run like a headless stagecoach
